That’s completely fine — your child doesn’t need to smile, pose or feel comfortable with me right away. I never expect children to “perform” for the camera.
We take our time, play, explore and let them get used to me and the camera at their own pace. With shy children, the first 10–20 minutes are often simply about getting comfortable. There is no pressure.
There is actually very little they need to cooperate with. I don’t expect children to sit still, look at the camera or follow instructions for an hour.
They can move, play, cuddle, take a break or just be themselves. I’ll gently guide you when needed and create photographs around what is naturally happening.
Not at all. Many people feel uncomfortable in front of a camera — especially when they imagine an hour of posing and smiling on command.
My sessions are relaxed and easy-going. I’ll give you simple directions when necessary, but most of the time you can simply interact with your family. You don’t need to know how to pose.
You don’t need matching outfits. The most important thing is that everyone feels comfortable and still looks like themselves.
After booking, I’ll send you my preparation guide with practical tips on colours, textures and combinations that work beautifully in photographs. And if you’re unsure about an outfit, you can always send me a photo and ask.
For outdoor sessions, I always keep an eye on the weather forecast. A cloudy day is absolutely fine and can actually give us beautiful soft light.
If the weather really doesn’t work for the session, we simply find another date.
Especially with children, this happens — and there is no reason to bring a sick or exhausted child to a photoshoot.
Just let me know as soon as possible and we’ll reschedule the session. I want your family to feel comfortable and enjoy the experience.
Most sessions take around 60–120 minutes, but I don’t work with a stopwatch. Some families need less time, others need a little longer — especially when young or shy children are involved.
We have enough time for breaks, snacks, cuddles and simply settling in.
After the session, you’ll receive a private online gallery with a selection of the best photographs.
Depending on your chosen package, you can select your favourites or receive the complete gallery. Additional photographs can also be purchased afterwards.
Yes. Every photograph you receive is individually edited in my signature style.
My goal is to keep you looking like yourself. I don’t heavily alter faces or bodies, but I can remove small temporary distractions such as a scratch or blemish when needed.
Your gallery will usually be ready within one week after the session. You’ll receive a private online link where you can view and select your photographs.
Absolutely. Sessions are available in English, German, Ukrainian and Russian, so you can choose whichever language feels most comfortable for your family.
Usually, you don’t need to decide on a package in advance. After the session, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can choose your favourite photographs. The minimum order is 10 photos. Based on the number of images you select, you’ll receive an invoice for payment.
If you already know which package you would like to book, you can of course also pay in cash on the day of the session.
Simply send me a message through the contact form or in Instagram/Facebook and tell me a little about your family and the kind of session you’re interested in.
I’ll get back to you personally with available dates and all the information you need. Once we’ve found a date that works for you, your session is booked.
